Introduction
The English for Nursing Program is intended to improve your communications skills at work and your English language knowledge in key areas of nursing. To give you practice in current healthcare situations. The ten units cover core areas of nursing such as patient admission, taking medical specimens and post-operation assessment.
The communications portion of the course prepares medical practitioners for communication with patients in English. As well as teaching functional language and medical terminology. It also focuses on the interpersonal and communication skills need to make consultations more effective.
