Introduction
The English for engineering course develops the specialist language knowledge and communications skills that engineers need, enabling them to communicate more confidently and effectively at work or for entrance to an university program. The course prepares learners for real engineering practice and covers topics common to all kinds of engineering – including civil, electrical and mechanical – such as procedures and precautions, and engineering design.
The second portion of the course offers vocabulary reference and practice for students and professionals. It covers a range of fields with a focus on technical and semi-technical vocabulary.
